Raintown Slickers

A retro-style rpg with classic turn-based battle mechanics and a grimy modern day setting. It was made for the Bigmode Game Jam of 2023.

Irena, Glen, Debora, and Jay seek to join their local gang, but in order to be properly inducted, they must perform regular jobs only fit for "runts." However, after delivering a package to another gang, their futures are suddenly thrown into far greater jeopardy...

Made with RPG Maker 2000. This game is playable in widescreen thanks to the Easy RPG Player executable.

Also, I don't really plan to follow this up with a full release or anything. This was primarily a means of testing out a different artstyle and how best to balance some battle mechanics, as well as experimenting with some different writing priorities.
